Question @ IMF Leadership

It is really shameful that the IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn has been accused of assaulting a maid in a luxury New York City hotel. He has been denied a bail and has been sent to a jail. This act has sent shock-waves throughout the world. He was a man who was in charge of overseeing the world economy and was tipped to be France’s next President. His arrest and subsequent jail is also extremely embarrassing for the IMF. Apart from dealing with a leadership crisis the IMF is now facing serious questions about whether it let Strauss-Kahn off too lightly in 2008 after he was caught in an extra-marital affair with an economist who was his subordinate. There are persistent rumors afloat inside the IMF that he often made unwanted sexual advances to other women during his tenure with IMF.

Deepak on Enlightened Leadership

For years now Deepak Chopra is teaching a course on “Enlightened Leadership” at Nothwestern University’sKellogg School of Management. After the consequences of global recession and extreme political unrest for the last couple of years he strongly feels that it is now time for a different kind of leadership. He has been emphasizing the importance of an enlightened leadership to business leaders at Ernst & Young, Pepsi and Cisco. He strongly believes that the U.S. leadership has become ineffective and needs a change in the leadership domain. He feels that enlightened leadership will be most appropriate for the current economic and social situation that the country is facing. He feels that the U.S. corporate and political leadership has almost lead to bankruptcy. He feels that we should nurture leadership that aims at unlocking the highest human potential. He says that the Wall Street has almost broken because it succumbed to greed, corruption, and pure speculation without any value…

Leadership of New Millennium !!

Congratulations, President Barack Obama !! This is what you deserve from the people around the world who love peace and who condemn terrorism. The whole credit always goes to the Leader and his brave Team. Both deserve attention and respect from the entire world. Good job done !! The whole team under him deserve kudos for the end of Osama Bin Laden. Barack Obama truly deserved the Nobel Prize conferred on him. This is only a beginning of an end of terrorism. And of course, a very important beginning. Only 40 minutes and 40 commandos and the whole job got done so well. What a feat? What an achievement? This goes without saying that what President Bush couldn’t do, President Obama could do. This is the differentiation. This is what is called the leadership with a difference. This is the leadership edge. There are two kinds of leaders. One, the leader who demands respect. Two, the leader who commands respect. The brave President Obama falls in the category of leaders who command respect.…
